About the Workshop
The Harvard College Writers' Workshop (HCWW, the Workshop) was started by members of the Class of 2015 who wanted to bring an inclusive creative writing organization to Harvard modeled after traditional writing workshops. Our mission is to provide an open forum for discussion of student writing to writers of all types, genres, and levels of experience, and an environment in which students can write together and inspire each other to think of writing in new ways.
There is no membership requirement or comp, although some programs, like Workshop, require consistent attendance to be beneficial to all members. We offer a variety of writing-related events throughout the year; a full list of upcoming events can be found on our Calendar, and news is disseminated through our Facebook page and Curious mailing list. As we model our events on student feedback, we encourage students to contact us (the Board) with any questions or comments on the Workshop. We hope to see you at our events and get to know your writing!
